Hi kyle, I am your 6th grande buddy and I want you to know a little about me and what i think about sixth grade:
My name is Andy and i am a student at Jis, In sixth grade you get more freedom, longer breaks, and you get to chose you food from varitity of foods that, and exploritory classes
Exploritory and electives Classes:
Exploritory classes are and exploritory classes are assigned to each person, for the exloritory yopu will not be going with your class but with different people from your home room and electives are classes you chose. You chose these classes by looking at a list of classes and languages including:
Indonesian 1A, 1B
Spanish 1A, 1B
French 1A,IB
Mandarin 1A,1B
Beginning band
Internediate Band
Beginning strings
Internediate strings
Vocals
Schedule
your schedule works on a A,B,C,D,E,F days (Correct me if i'm wrong) ,well in 6th grade your schedule Blue, White, Blue star, and White star days . You also have core classes which is english,social studies,science ,and math.
Cafe, D-toko, Booster hut
In sixth grade you get a prevelages and get to hang out in the huts and also get to go to the Booster hut and D-toko where you buy snacks and P.E kits and accesseries and the cafeteria has 10 differrent places to go. The top floor has also about 7 other different shops to buy from,but in middle school you don't buy a ticket and eat with that, you have to bring your own money and be responsible of it. shops in the cafeteria include:
Marisaya
mom's subs
mom's cook
towa towa
Kebeb place
pizza express.
etc.
ESP (extended study program)
Near the end of the year the middle school goes on a field trip lasting about a week to Bogor, ESP stands for, Extended Study Program, and is a time for students have fun, meet new friends, and learn at the same time how to,for example; fish, archery, potery, and much more. Also in the ESP you get to chose 6 room mates you wish to be room mates with, and the school and Mr.Boots (Activities Manager for the middle school) will try to get at least one of your choises, because you will only be allowed 3 people per room (or 4, maybe) at the hotel.
